OCCASIONALLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS: As a post-modern psychotherapist, I work from a narrative therapy perspective where I help you write 'the other side' of your problem story. Using narrative questions and curiosity, my hope is to help you shift your focus and see new possibilities and new perspectives.
In addition to working through a narrative lens, I appreciate that our experiences are made up of thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. For that reason, I also weave cognitive and behavioural theory as well as attachment theory into our sessions.

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS IN-PERSON AND VIRTUALLY: I aim to create a safe and comfortable space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and challenges.
During our time together, I will actively listen to you - to understand your goals and vision for your life. Together, we will work to overcome the barriers that are keeping you from living the life that you want.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I use elements from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, Attachment-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman Method.

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS IN-PERSON AND VIRTUALLY:
You are the expert on your life and from time to time you may require help from a professional who can support you through life’s challenges in an open, trusting, respectful, and non-judgmental way. My approach is collaborative and genuine, adjusting to meet your unique style, strengths, and goals.
I provide a safe and accepting space where you can explore your most intimate concerns and experiences. This may include asking thought-provoking questions from a narrative or cognitive behavioural perspective or leaving space for silence and emotional processing in our conversations.

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS: Genuine, non-judgemental, and empathetic by nature, I aim to work alongside you to overcome life’s most difficult struggles. My passion for psychotherapy stems from witnessing our resiliency when given the right tools and a safe place to heal.
Through an integrative framework rooted in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), psychodynamic therapies, humanistic therapies (Gestalt, Emotion Focused Therapy), Buddhist psychology and attachment theory, I use evidence-based interventions in session to help guide you through self-discovery, recovery, and to build new perspectives.
Whether it’s exploring past traumas or setting goals for future change, we explore material that surfaces in sessions with the intention of creating clarity, closure, and a sense of inner peace.
