OCCASIONALLY ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS: As a post-modern psychotherapist, I work from a narrative therapy perspective where I help you write 'the other side' of your problem story. Using narrative questions and curiosity, my hope is to help you shift your focus and see new possibilities and new perspectives.
In addition to working through a narrative lens, I appreciate that our experiences are made up of thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. For that reason, I also weave cognitive and behavioural theory as well as attachment theory into our sessions.

ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON: Life stresses and challenges can change our sense of self, our relationships, and our family dynamics—sometimes, in ways that are confusing and distressing. At times, it can feel like you’ve lost yourself or that you don’t recognize your partner or child anymore. I’m here to help.
I strive to bring compassion, curiosity, creativity (and sometimes humour!) to our sessions. Just bring yourself—it’s okay if you don’t know where to start. Together, we will try to figure out next steps, new perspectives, and a way forward.
I use an eclectic mix of therapeutical approaches. During the first few sessions, I explore different approaches to find the best fit for each client. The strategies I use are primarily from narrative, solution-focused, emotion-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behaviour therapies.
• Please note that at this time we are unable to see children younger than 12-years-old in the office, but would be happy to work with parents to discuss concerns.
