As a psychotherapist, my bias is towards the positive. For that reason, I work from a narrative therapy perspective where I help you write 'the other side' of your problem story. Using narrative questions and curiosity, my hope is to help you shift your focus and see new possibilities and new perspectives.
In addition to working through a narrative lens, I appreciate that our experiences are made up of thoughts, behaviours, and relationships. For that reason, I also weave cognitive and behavioural theory as well as attachment theory into our sessions.
